All By Myself. Don't Wanna be...

Judging by the last post, it seems that some of you out there have noticed an absence of posts from Ole JC.  Never fear.  I am alive and well in the NOVA/DC area.  Truth be told, I have been suffering from a spiritual and existential funk that not even a new suit or watching 12 straight hours of "Roadhouse" could pull me out of.  As such, I have been on a little social and cyberspacial hiatus.  For fear of Sui, I have ended my social hiatus, but I will continue my virtual hiatus.  I must focus my efforts and time; I shall not post anything further until I have found myself a lady.

So, basically, what I am saying is "Be back next year."

Though this is undoubtedly a huge loss to our faithful readers, I implore you to please not go astray for there are still great writers here producing intelligent, thoughtful, witty, and amusing posts about a variety of subjects.

Have no fear, faithful readers.  I, like Gen. Douglas MacArthur, shall return.
