Savor this Pittsburgh...

Nutty_professor_3 Bill_cowher2 It does not happen very often.  What am I referring to?  Yup, you guessed it.  On February 5, 2006, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Bill Cowher proved me wrong.  Unlike all of the commentators out there, I will admit it.  I did not think that the Pittsburgh Steelers would make it to the Super Bowl let alone win the thing.  Hell, I doubted whether they would even make the playoffs.  Yes, I did make the comment way back in July and August (and probably even last year) that Cowher had been coaching that team for over tens years and did basically nothing with the talent that he had.  I wondered how the bum even had an ounce job security.

Now look at me.  I need to defend Cowher for all of eternity because he has done something great and now earned the right to coach in Pittsburgh as long as his heart desires.  I congratulate you, Bill Cowher.  You truly have done something that very few have accomplished.  Yes, you won the Super Bowl, but more importantly, you proved me wrong.  Celebrate and live it up as much as you can because it will not happen again.

*rubbing hands with glee* I eagerly anticipate JD's response. JD, don't let me down...

Hey there chuckles,

Since I used to prove you wrong on a daily basis, what's my reward? And don't offer to clean my room wearing a french maid outfit, the answer's still NO!!!

J.D., you have never (and will never) prove me wrong. For the record: Steely Dan is one person, we get French benefits, it is the Leaning Tower of Pizza, James Dean makes sausages, Jimmy Dean was an actor, and using FedEx ground is too expensive.
