Harry Reid is a Douchebag

More proof that Democrats are hypocrites.  Click here.

Isn't that just more proof that most POLITICIANS are hypocrites, or do you mean hypocrisy like playing oneself off as a republican, while voting for a democratic presidential candidate and a democratic senator who just so happens to be a good friend's uncle?

I've loved that defense since this thing began: "Our party may be riddled with corruption and bribery, but look, one of their guys is crooked, too! Yay us!" What's interesting is that Ambramoff has been so remarkably vindictive that he's actively providing e-mails, pictures, etc. to the investigators and the press. He's not covering his ass, he's trying to take down everyone he curried favor from. And I can't say he's wrong for doing that.

So, when's your new "reformer" majority leader moving out of his apartment, the one paid for by the lobbyist? :)

I have, and always will, consider myself to be moderate. I vote for the best candidate regardless of political affiliation (though the last few elections I have been forced to vote for the less worse candidate). Why do I make fun of Democrats then you might ask. Well, they make it too easy. Their leadership takes every chance it can to point fingers at Republicans and call them crooked, greedy, in the pocket of big business, etc. The leadership then ignores all of the perks the party and it members have received from lobbyists just like the un-esteemed Mr. Abramoff. The Democratic Party tries to play itself off as something it is not. They say, "We're clean. We would never do anything like what the Republicans are doing." But they do exactly what the Republicans are doing because everyone on Capitol Hill is doing it. Mr. I'm-Holier-Than-Thou Reid is just one of many examples of Democratic hypocrasy.

On top of all of this, their leadership does not have a clue. Howard Dean is the worst choice for a National Committee leader. Here's a tip: nobody south of the Mason-Dixon line likes anyone from New England (that is why the first Republican-Abraham Lincoln-got elected). The party lost the last Presidential election to a rather weak President that was ripe for the picking, and instead of blaming themselves and determining where they went wrong, the Democrats blamed the voters and anyone else they could think of.

I could give about 1000 more reasons why it is too easy to pick on the Donkeys (which is another reason: their mascot is a Jackass), but I do not have the time. So for all you bleeding hearts out there: go volunteer at a soup kitchen; quit taking my now hard-earned money.
